The Saluda Farmers Market, also known as the Saluda Tailgate Market, brings together food vendors from all over the region. You can browse through produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, flowers, and more! Head to the market to get a few things to bring on a picnic, for some snacks during your stay at Orchard Inn, or take some ingredients home for your next meal!

When Is the Saluda Farmers Market?
The market comes to town every Friday in May through October from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Vendors set up in the West Main Parking Lot just a few minutes down the street from Orchard Inn!

Are There Any Foods That Will Last the Trip Home?
Yes! If you would like to head to the market to bring home a taste of Western North Carolina, there are a few options for you. Baked and preserved goods are your best bet. Western North Carolina produces some amazing fruits, and some of the vendors make delicious jams with these fresh ingredients.
