“We had the most perfect Thanksgiving stay at the Orchard Inn! The views are beautiful and the food was delicious. We started each day with a gourmet breakfast. We should have saved more room for the Thanksgiving lunch with soup, salmon, turkey, prime rib, Brussels sprouts, dressing, green beans, potato casserole, and more! Marc and Marianne are the best hosts and their son has joined them to make guests feel at home. This was our second Thanksgiving at the Orchard Inn. We hope to make it a family tradition!”

“We attended the Dickens Dinner at the Orchard Inn again this year. We treated my brother and his wife to this wonderful experience for their 45th anniversary. The charm of the Inn and the incredible food served at Newman’s made it a magical night. I should note, the chef did an outstanding job providing vegan choices for our family throughout the weekend.

“Highly recommend this quaint Inn tucked into the NC mountains and sweet town of Saluda. We had such a glorious stay! From sitting on the porch in the evenings overlooking the mountains enjoying a glass of wine and eating cheese to the delicious morning breakfast before heading out on the day’s adventure! “Nestled in the mountains of North Carolina, the Orchard Inn is a magical place. My husband and I first discovered it when we were planning our small June wedding and searching for a location that was not only beautiful and peaceful, but would also handle almost everything for us. We worked with the owners, Marc, Marianne, and Adam, and their amazing staff to create a wedding experience that far surpassed our expectations. They took care of the food, cake, photographer, and flowers; helped arrange the officiant; and provided recommendations for makeup, hair, and nails. I can’t imagine a lovelier experience.
We had such a wonderful time at the Orchard Inn when we were married, we wanted to come back when we actually had time to relax and enjoy the idyllic location. Last weekend, we did just that, and, again, everything was perfection. Our room was quaint, cozy, and overlooked the breathtaking mountains. We enjoyed delicious, healthy breakfasts each morning, explored the towns around the Inn (Saluda, Tryon, Hendersonville) in the afternoon, and ate one delicious dinner at the Inn (the other was at the wonderful nearby Azalea Bistro). We’re already planning a trip back next fall and hope to make it an annual event.”

“The pictures do not do this charming inn justice! The inn has a cozy, homey, yet sophisticated vintage feel. We were in town for the apple festival and picked this inn last minute.
Room
They only had a room with twin beds, which they pushed together for us to make a king. It was like sleeping on a cloud! Small bathroom and small room but perfect for a couple. No TV but you can watch it downstairs.
Inn
The huge front porch and the view from the back deck made you feel like you were at your family home in the mountains. The two dogs and two cats made us feel like nostalgic for our grandma’s country home! I love the way the inside is set up, reminiscent of a mini B&B version of the Grove Park Inn. My favorite was the restaurant facing the mountain and garden view.
We also enjoyed the tv room downstairs with the pool table. Very comfortable space.
Breakfast
Omg… amazing!!! We tried the oatmeal and yogurt granola. Go for the special feature – we had a strata and a crepe (can’t remember the fancy name) but both were fantastic.
Overall – Great stay! The inn is so peaceful and a great location to get in and out of town easily. The only suggestion is to host an afternoon wine hour. Thanks for a great stay!”
