September Asheville Fall Festivals
1. Mountain State Fair
The Mountain State Fair is the perfect way to end the summer and welcome the fall. Art in Autumn takes place every year in mid-September just outside of Asheville. This outdoor arts and crafts festival brings over 100 artists and crafters together to sell their goods as well as participate in the competition. 3. Brewgrass Festival
The Brewgrass Festival is every beer lover’s dream! This event takes place every September and features over 40 breweries. Proceeds from the event will go to help the Big Brother Big Sister organization in Asheville.

Be Greek for the day at the Asheville Greek Festival! On the last weekend of September, the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church throws an incredible event filled with traditional food, live music, and much more.
5. Asheville Barnaroo
This music festival comes every year at the end of September. Festival-goers can enjoy 3 days of live music at Fanny’s Farm. Asheville Barnaroo focuses mainly on folk music, and proceeds from the festival go to benefit the Asheville Music School.
