About the Asheville Brewgrass Festival
The Asheville Brewgrass Festival started back in 1996 as a way to bring craft brewers together. Since then, it has blossomed into one of the only occasions that regional brewers and beer lovers can all be in the same place. Attendees get the chance to chat with the brewers to find out information about their beer while they try samples. Plus, there’s an awesome lineup of music to go along with it!

The Beer Lineup
Participating breweries change every year, but we often see our favorites at each festival. Popular breweries that make a yearly appearance include New Belgium Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Green Man Brewery, Wicked Weed, and more. Plus, there are always small breweries making their appearance for the first time at the festival. It’s the perfect way to find a new favorite beer!
Getting Tickets
Tickets go on sale about a month before the event. You can purchase tickets online, but make sure you get them sooner rather than later. They sell out quickly!
Tickets can be purchased in different tiers: VIP, General Admission, and Safe Driver. VIP ticket holders get access to the VIP Lounge with extra beverage samples. If you’re going to be the designated driver, the Safe Driver option gives you access to the festival without any tastings at a discounted rate!

Did you know that a portion of the proceeds of the Asheville Brewgrass Festival go to a great cause? The festival supports the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Western North Carolina. Many of the proceeds go back into our community to help young people achieve their greatest potential by pairing them with a mentor.
