The Saluda Arts Festival has become a springtime tradition in Western North Carolina. Thousands of people gather each May to celebrate the art and culture of the small town of Saluda. During this event, more than 80 local and regional artists are featured from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Plus, there are live entertainment and food vendors to keep you busy all day!

The entire main strip of Saluda, NC, is transformed into a bustling market when the Saluda Arts Festival comes to town. It’s just a five-minute drive from Orchard Inn!
The Art
What would the Saluda Arts Festival be without the art? Every year, local artists from the surrounding area submit their work to be part of the festival. More than 80 amazing artisans and crafters are accepted to set up booths that stretch all the way down Main Street. You’ll find works such as paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculptures, and more. It’s the perfect place to grab a souvenir, something unique for your home, or a gift for a loved one. You won’t be able to find many of these items anywhere else!
The Entertainment
You’ll get a true taste of Western North Carolina culture when you listen to the live music throughout the festival. Spanning the entire day, you will be able to stop by the McCreery Park Pavilion and enjoy music spanning genres such as Americana, blues, folk, and contemporary. While there are no stages here, you can also find tons of entertainment by Saluda businesses and throughout the vendors. Walk from band to band!
