This Is Why You’ll Love the Eliada Corn Maze

When we think of fall, we think of colorful leaves, crisp air, and all the fun events that come along with it. When autumn arrives in Western North Carolina, we have a few traditions you won’t want to miss. One of our favorites is visiting the Eliada Corn Maze. This autumn hotspot is fun for all ages.

About the Eliada Organization

The Eliada Corn Maze is our area’s only non-profit maze; 100% of the proceeds go to a good cause. Eliada is a staple in our community. This organization aims for our local children to succeed. From getting kids to school to giving the less fortunate a place to live at their facility, they help in every way possible. Every year, they put on the corn maze to bring some happiness and good times to the community while also raising money for their outreach.

When Is the Eliada Corn Maze?

The Eliada Corn Maze is open from mid-September to the end of October. This is a perfect time because you’ll get to experience our breathtaking fall foliage! You can visit Tuesday through Sunday, but times vary each day. Check the Eliada Corn Maze website for specific times so you can add it to your itinerary. Then, you can purchase tickets in advance.

Eliada Corn Maze Attractions

Although the awesome maze is the main attraction, there’s more to the Eliada Corn Maze than just that! You can spend hours here when you enjoy all that there is too offer. Here are the other activities:

Jumping Pillow

After its debut in 2015, the Jumping Pillow has made its way back to the Eliada Corn Maze year after year. It’s a fun and unique activity for both kids and adults!

Hayride

Hop on a bale of hay and get a tour of the area. You’ll be brought around the field and through a part of the maze!

Corn Cannons

Stuff a cannon with corn, aim, and fire! Targets consist of giant pumpkin men. Challenge whoever you are with to see who can hit the most targets.

The Mini Maze

If the kids are too small for the full-size maze, they will love the Story Trail. Its mini size is perfect for them.

The Spider Climber

Kids love the spider climber! There is netting spread out over a base that lets the kids bounce and climb. If the maze hasn’t gotten all their energy out, this definitely will.
