AIR has helped Asheville become one of the Southeast’s top culinary destinations as well as a leader in the farm-to-table movement. Asheville is also the first city in the United States to be named a “Green Dining Destination.”

About AIR…AIR is a group of independently owned dining establishments that are dedicated to local people, local farms, local businesses, local philanthropies and local brews. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to Taste of Asheville will benefit AIR’s two outreach programs, which are the Chefs of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund and the GO! Kitchen Ready Training Program. The Chefs of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to A-B Tech’s nationally-acclaimed culinary program. GO! Kitchen Ready Training Program helps prepare students for the culinary field.

As you can tell, you’ll not only enjoy fabulous food and libations (beer and wines from AIR industry partners will be available), you’ll also be helping a great cause. So make sure you head to The Venue at 21 North Market Street in downtown Asheville, NC on Wednesday, November 20 for Taste of Asheville 2013. A single ticket is priced at $70, or purchase two for $125. Click here to buy them in advance.

Again, it’s happening at The Venue, which is an event facility that is located in the center of downtown Asheville.  The Venue offers a spacious floor plan at 13,000+ square feet with three very unique sections. Each of those sections, the Market Street level, the Mezzanine and the Second Floor, has a private entrance. The Venue has a characteristic French cottage setting of exposed brick walls, barn ceilings and vintage tile floors. You’ll find in it a relaxed atmosphere with a touch of uniqueness and elegance. Trust us, you’ll be impressed!
